What will you do as a Junior Finance Accountant
You are looking for the opportunity to develop in the Finance field within a very interesting Finance, Tax and legal environment. Because we are present in 22 countries and people nowadays easily travel internationally with an electric car, Last Mile Solutions has to deal with many international cash flows.
You are responsible for executing and checking the day-to-day financial administration of various legal entities. In the Netherlands these are the most important companies and abroad we expect support from you, especially with the accounts payable administration. We have a separate credit control team that you can fall back on for debit management.
Daily activities are:
- Credit management: checking, entering and paying purchase invoices
- Processing and entering payment orders and entering bank statements
- Keeping track of various intercompany current account positions
- Processing financial transactions in the Finance system
- Support in the month-end closing process
- Drawing up reports of outstanding balances, analyzing possible differences and take actions where necessary
- Ensuring compliance with administrative procedures / being in control of financial processes
- Actively thinking about continuous improvement processes for the Finance Team
- Contribute to process optimization, you have a good eye for efficiency improvements
You recognize yourself in:
- You are in possession of a HBO education in a financial / business economic direction
- You have relevant internship or graduation experience in an international working environment
- You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language and a good command of the French and/or German language is an advantage
- You are available 5 days a week
- You live in the Rotterdam area
