Your role as Marketing Director

As Marketing Director as Last Mile Solutions, you will lead pivotal Marketing initiatives in a dynamic, rapidly scaling international environment. Collaborating closely with the Sales and Strategy team you will drive growth and enhance our market presence. Your responsibilities span External Communications, New Market Entries, Product Marketing, Branding, Content Marketing and Events.
We seek a seasoned leader with international experience, ready to lead a talented and ambitious team. Reporting directly to the CCO, this position is based in Rotterdam, a vibrant hub for global business.



  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with company and commercial goals.
  • Manage external communications and public relations to enhance the company’s reputation and visibility.
  • Manage and mentor the marketing team (4 FTE and growing), fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Conduct market research, in collaboration with the strategy team, to identify new market opportunities and trends.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to create effective lead generation strategies.
  • Oversee all marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring they are executed effectively and within budget.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to inform future strategies.
  • Lead brand management efforts to ensure consistent messaging and positioning across all channels.
  • Plan and oversee the execution of product launches and events.

You recognize yourself in

  • At least 6 years of relevant working experience in a leading Marketing position
  • Previous experience at tech/e-mobility scale-ups is a big plus
  • In-depth knowledge of B2B Marketing
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellence communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Self-starter, proactive and willing to go the extra mile
  • Fluent in English and one additional language (Dutch/ French/ German)
