What you will do
- You will work on the full life cycle of our products, from understanding the underlying problem, designing the architecture, to implementing, testing and releasing
- You develop automated tests to increase quality and test for performance & robustness, including edge cases, usability and overall reliability
- You run the product, using observability to identify bottlenecks and fix bugs
- You will collaborate with platform engineering to implement new components and systems in our IT landscape, to improve performance, quality, CI/CD flows, or user experience of our platform and apps

Your role
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Data Platform. We are at the beginning stages of transforming the data generated by our customers into valuable insights. We are seeking an expert who can build the infrastructure required to convert our extensive and distributed data into the insights needed by our customers and ourselves. This will take place in a greenfield environment as we transition to the cloud. Als fulltime Executive Assistant bij Last Mile Solutions ga je samen met de Executive Assistant van de CEO werken voor de overige C-level executives. Your role
We are looking for a Dutch and English speaking Customer Care Representative Finance for our Customer Care team in Rotterdam. To be successful in this position, you must be passionate about providing excellent customer service and enjoy solving financial issues.
You will be part of the Customer Care team, dealing specifically with customer queries that are financial in nature. You will be the bridge between our organization and valued customers. You will work closely with Finance colleagues to provide efficient and effective solutions to customers. As we operate internationally, you will speak to clients alternately in Dutch and English. If you also speak French or German, this is a big advantage.
Main responsibilities
You are the 1st or 2nd point of contact for our B2B clients and end customers when they have a financial administrative issue. You are the one who listens quietly and with your solution-oriented thinking you enter the process together with the customer to solve the problem as well and as quickly as possible.
Sometimes for more complex questions you need the help of colleagues from the Finance team. You are able to clearly describe the problem in our Salesforce ticket system and/or further explain it verbally to colleagues if necessary.

- As the first point of contact for questions related to invoicing, you are responsible for handling these questions or referring them to the relevant department with the appropriate expertise. You asses requests for urgency and set the right priorities.
- You investigate, analyze and fix problems. At the same time you think along with the organization to avoid certain issues or design processes more efficiently.
- Continuously deliver input, proactively, to our product/support knowledge team.
- Investigate bigger and more complex support issues – where needed you collaborate closely with colleagues in other departments (e.g. Finance, Solutions).
- You supplement our FAQ with relevant information and help customers find and access these resources.

Your role
In this high-impact and customer-facing role, you will interact with prospects and customers on a daily base to translate their business goals and pain points into technical requirements and solutions.
You will be accountable for the onboarding and delivery, where you will mentor and support the Delivery Manager during onboarding and product deliveries.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding and exceptional customer experiences. From pre-sales support to large-scale solutions projects, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering tailored solutions that align with customer needs.
Your main responsibilities are
- Be the Product Expert: Serve as the go-to technical and functional reference on Last Mile Solutions’ products and services and conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospects showcasing the features and benefits of our products.
- Sales and Tender Support: Collaborate with Sales teams to understand customer requirements, define technical deliverables, and design tailored solutions that align with both technical and business needs. Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout sales and tender processes, including scoping, solution design to ensure features and value propositions are properly captured.
- Customer Onboarding and Delivery: Lead the technical onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for customers and mentoring Delivery Managers for successful execution. Conduct quality checks to ensure customer satisfaction post-onboarding.
Build strong relationships with our customers and partners, earning their trust as a reliable and knowledgeable advisor. - Customer Feedback and Problem Solving: Engage with customers to understand their needs, address challenges, and gather actionable feedback for continuous product improvement.
- Cross-team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Business Development, Product Management and Delivery teams, to understand customer requirements, identify gaps and opportunities and translate these into viable technical solutions.
- Large-Scale Projects: Manage and lead the technical design and execution of complex implementation projects such as migrations and multi-region deployments, ensuring high-quality outcomes and seamless transitions.
- Knowledge Sharing and Enablement: Contribute to internal and external resources by assisting in the creation of documentation, training materials, knowledge base content, and eLearning resources to ensure clarity throughout the project lifecycle and a smooth transition between the pre-sales and implementation phase.
You recognize yourself in
- Proven experience (> 2 years) in solutions management, customer success or a related role within e-mobility.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong drive for Problem Solving with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- You speak English fluently. Preferably you additionally also speak Dutch and/or Polish.
- Natural affinity for technology with the ability to quicky learn and adapt to new tools, platforms and systems is preferred.
- Broad experience in technology acquired through multiple roles: e.g. sales engineering, software engineering, product management, etc.
- Experience in e-mobility is preferred but not mandatory.

Your role as Junior Financial Accountant

You seek the opportunity to develop yourself in the Finance field within a very interesting Finance, Tax and legal environment. As we are present in 22 countries we are dealing with international cash flows.
Your primarily responsibility is contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting, including all financial business transactions.
The whole Finance, accounting and control team
The company is growing fast and so is the team. The current Finance team has two subteams; Credit control, which is responsible for billing and collection and – your team – Group control, which is responsible for accounting, reporting and analysis. As the company and the teams grow, we expect a further cascade of teams for planning & control and accounting & reporting.
What you will do as a Junior Financial Accountant
- Ensure the timely processing of incoming invoices (accounts payables)
- Ensure the timely processing of cash receipts (cash management)
- Prepare payments and payments list proposals
- Prepare and support on monthly vat declarations
- Prepare manual journal entries
- Support on the monthly financial closing process and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
- Provide support on the preparation of audit documentation for financial audits
- Support on ticket handling for customer queries
- Supervising junior accountants

You recognize yourself in
- A Bachelor’s degree in the direction of Finance
- Relevant internship experience or at least 1 year of relevant work experience at a finance accounting department in an international environment.
- You are proficient in Windows Office (Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel use is a hard requirement) and able to work with financial systems (experience with Oracle Netsuite or similar financial systems is a plus).
- You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language (and a good command of the French and/or German language is a plus).
- You are available 5 days a week and reside in or in the surroundings of Rotterdam
