Charging infrastructure and the EV landscape
A market model for charging infrastructure development was developed in 2012. This was done in cooperation with a large number of parties, including energy companies, mobility providers and interest groups. The market model standardizes two things:
1. The ability to “charge” electricity with a pass at all charging stations in Europe (interoperability).
2. The possibility of charging for the purchase of electricity by an EV user.
Within this market model, Last Mile Solutions focuses on the administrative role. Last Mile Solutions’ software enables providers of EV services and charging networks, without having to worry about the management of charging stations and the administrative process behind charging transactions.
