Your role

As Customer Success Manager you will be responsible for nurturing key customers (In Benelux) after deal closure. In this varied job with many responsibilities, you will have contacts with existing customers about ongoing contracts, solutions and problems. There is daily contact with the Sales and Solutions colleagues about current and future projects. And you have frequent contact with the international Development and Support teams working from our HQ in Rotterdam.  

Your main responsibilities

• Planning and guiding the overall business implementation of new customers, in close cooperation with the Solutions team
• Building and nurturing relationships with existing customers
• Up,- and cross sell to existing customers
• Collect and analyse customer feedback
• Share customer feedback with relevant internal stakeholders and be a sparring partner in designing improvements

Your role as Procurement Manager

Last Mile Solutions is seeking an energetic Procurement Manager based in Rotterdam. In this entirely new role you will set up, configure and shape and execute the procurement process through the entire organization. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services necessary for our business. Besides that you will take an advisory role with regard to procurement. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach and collaborate closely with various departments and support the business in understanding the importance procurement processes to minimize risks to the business. You will be part of the finance department that currently exists of an accounting, credit control and financial planning and control teams. This separate role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is carried out from our HQ in Rotterdam.  

Responsibilities

• Strategic Procurement: Develop, implement and enforcing procurement conditions and agreements whilst ensuring they comply with company goals, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality sourcing of products and services
• Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements, contract negotiations and process optimization.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate contractual risks
• Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions. Asses evaluations of supplier performance ensuring alignment with company standards.
• Contract Management: Draft, review and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Identify deviations and address any disputes or contract-related issues relatively.
• Coordination: Collaborate with various departments ensuring procurement activities align with business needs, timelines and budget as well as forecast demands and adjust procurement accordingly.
• Market Research: to stay up to date and be able to identify and recommend new suppliers and innovative solutions to improve efficiency and cost.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Following good administration keeping detailed records of all procurement activities prepare regular reports on metrics and supplier performance.

Your role as Technical Product Manager

As part of the Product Management team, you have the unique opportunity to be co-responsible for the further growth and development of our white-label e-Mobility solution. Our platform is focused on Charge Point Operators and e-Mobility Service Providers, and on companies from other industries who want to become a CPO or e-MSP. In this role we are looking for a Technical Product Manager who has experience managing two diverse teams:

1. Infrastructure team, tasked with developing a scalable infrastructure based on k8s and a seamless developer experience platform to act as a flywheel for the product teams. Key stakeholders are 5 product teams that are eagerly looking forward to move to containers on Kubernetes, accompanying product managers wanting a quicker time-to-market.
2. TechOps team, ensuring smooth IT operations for the whole organization, from office automation to data storage, to security & compliance. Key interactions are operations department in need of data and insights, colleagues with IT challenges and Sales & CISO with information on security and compliance

You have a solid understanding of managing IT Operations, from the capacity in our data centers to ensuring our platform and organization is secure and compliant. You are not daunted by technical concepts surrounding capacity planning, observability, CI/CD, and databases. With 2 solid teams, you have the power the set the roadmap, help our organization to continue to scale.  

What you will do as a Technical Product Manager

• Understand, anticipate and prioritize internal customer needs
• Differentiate and create a market leading infrastructure product that’s on par with public cloud solutions
• Collaborate closely with your colleagues from various departments (Product development, Roaming, Connectivity, Sales & Marketing, Operations)
• Act as primary communicator to all stakeholders in the company from start till release of each product or component
• Keep a fine balance between fulfilling the needs on our new and existing infrastructure
• Identify and implement external partnerships to scale our offering to a global one

Your role

With the growing number of new roaming partners as well as new customers (providers), we’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Connectivity Manager that can lead the team on day-to-day base  to help us setting up and maintaining new API connections. In this role, you closely collaborate with the Solution and Roaming Managers of Last Mile Solutions and be the technical liaison of our customers and/or partners. You also play an important role in the development of new APIs by providing our Product Managers with valuable connectivity insights and customer feedback. Finally, you will be leading and supporting internal connectivity projects and help fixing connectivity issues whenever they occur. You will be a part of a talented and ambitious team and will report to the Manager of the Connectivity department.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Connectivity team day on operational base as well as HR base.
• Setting up and maintaining proprietary API and OCPI connections.
• Support the development of new APIs.
• Lead and support connectivity projects.
• Provide advance support for any connectivity issues.
• Maintaining the ticketing board.

Your role as Infrastructure Engineer

As an Infrastructure Engineer you will shape and develop our infrastructure platform and in effect create a flywheel that will accelerate the product teams developing on it. You will have the autonomy to together with your team decide on which components and systems are needed to deliver an infrastructure platform that equals public cloud offering, but all in our own DCs with our own bare metal. You will be involved in rapid iterations and improvements to further the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cutting-edge services landscape. You will help build a high-traffic/high-load platform on which millions of transactions take place each month and is doubling each year. Besides designing and implementing this infrastructure platform, you’ll have ample opportunities to flex your creativity and expertise. Crafting a developer experience platform, from bare metal to OS, up to application layer and transitioning our virtualized Linux infrastructure to Kubernetes. Moreover, you'll work closely with both front-end and back-end product teams as well as the architects. Together, you'll understand, implement, and support the needs of our products and value streams, contributing directly to our company's innovative endeavors.  

Your core responsibilities are

• You will design, implement and maintain the infrastructure platform • You will work with our co-location partners to design and implement the right hardware in our racks • You will work closely with software engineers to guide and provide them with best practices or help, support and implement new scalable solutions • You will play an important role in automating traditional admin work, to make more time for innovation and efficiency • You implement infrastructure as Code to facilitate the rapid scaling of our environment and assuring security practices • You will maintain and improve our current infrastructure and drive the transition to Kubernetes  

What do we expect from you as a new colleague

• Strong drive for automation, recognizing, analyzing and converting manual processes to automated ones • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities • Solid foundation in Linux administration and troubleshooting • Experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker Swarm, k8s) • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines •  Incident management based on a 24/7 rotation (On-call rotation)

Your role as Back-end Software Engineer

In a compact, fast-growing team, we develop software for the next generation of E-mobility solutions. That means not just building applications, but jointly building a new team and platform, with the associated challenges. You are an ambitious, result-oriented, hands-on back-end software engineer. Through your experience and enthusiasm, you contribute to the further development of our product. Your expertise is the basis for the quality of our software. Ultimately, you will shape the next generation software for e-mobility and smart energy.  

What you will do as a Back-end Software Engineer

• You will work on the full life cycle of our products, from understanding the underlying problem, designing the architecture, to implementing, testing and releasing • You develop automated tests to increase quality and test for performance & robustness, including edge cases, usability and overall reliability • You run the product, using observability to identify bottlenecks and fix bugs • You will collaborate with platform engineering to implement new components and systems in our IT landscape, to improve performance, quality, CI/CD flows, or user experience of our platform and apps • You collaborate with other teams to improve the platform at large and scale it • Through these various activities, you will be (co-)responsible for designing and building the next generation of our white-label SaaS platform whilst in parallel you also work on our current generation platform.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent through experience) • At least 4 years of work experience in the position of Backend Software Engineer in an agile organization, preferably product-led • You have attestable knowledge of PHP, SQL, working with queues (RabbitMQ) and noSQL (Redis) ór you have an extensive and varied experience in alternatives • Experience in working with dockers/ containers is a must • It is a plus if you also have knowledge of Symfony, CI/CD and devops-related activities • You are not daunted by breaking down monoliths and legacy code into full-fledged macro-services, refactoring existing code and improving quality • You are keen to iterate on code, develop and improve long-lived products, finding and resolving performance gaps • You enjoy working in a young, fast-paced, fast growth environment • You are proactive and a quick learner and continuously improve yourself • You have an excellent command of the Dutch and/or English language
