Last Mile Solutions enters into a partnership for international growth
Rotterdam,18-02-2021 – Over the past ten years, Last Mile Solutions has built up a strong leading position as a pioneer and expert in the field of e-mobility software solutions in Europe. The Rotterdam-based company was looking for additional capital to accelerate its growth in Europe and found it in a partnership with Eurowag.
Last Mile Solutions started developing SaaS software for the IT, telecom, e-mobility and energy sectors back in 1997. In 2007, it started focusing on electric mobility and smart energy management, years before the first electric cars in Europe hit the road. In recent years, LMS has further developed its e-mobility management platform and is now the largest independent e-mobility platform provider in Europe, with more than 37.000 charging stations and over 200.000 charging cards with users in over 22 countries. With their advanced e-Mobility and Energy Management platform, LMS supports its blue chip B2B customers in their energy transition.
Eurowag a leading provider of commercial transport solutions and active in the payment industry, among others, and supplies in-car systems for navigation and point of interest data (POI), that enables car-users to find fuel and charging stations. The technical and commercial synergy between Eurowag and LMS will contribute to the development of several value-adding functionalities that will significantly enhance the customer journey of EV-drivers. Moreover, Eurowag will provide LMS access to its extensive European network of car OEM’s, for which it supplies in-car systems. With this partnership both parties aim to strengthen each other and further solidify their market-leading positions in Europe.
